Danish born Lisa specializes in African Tribal Arts and ethnic textiles and is the proud owner of the Home Gallery in Nairobi. The gallery is a treasure trove of gorgeous arts, textiles, paintings and jewellery from the entire African continent.
Lisa designs a unique collection of hand painted African inspired Pashmina shawls and sweaters made from the finest pashmina. Home Gallery is Lisa’s home which she shares with her two children, Savanna and Zak and husband Grant.
Lisa is second generation born and was raised on the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and has since lived in Kenya, Denmark, Switzerland and Tanzania.
Suzie’s love and knowledge of Kenya came about when she worked for the world famous Safari Rally in the early 1980’s, preparing route notes during reconnaissance around the country.
In recent years, Suzie has carried out a number of updates for overseas published travel guides on Kenya.
Suzie was born in Nyeri and brought up on a farm near Naro Moru in the Laikipia area. She spent five years away from Kenya when her family lived in Australia and South Africa. Suzie lives in Nairobi with her husband Marco and son, Daniele.
